Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jeff Anderson, operating as MapRankd ("we," "us," "our"), collects and uses your information when you use our website and services.
What we collect
When you fill out our intake form or become a client, we collect:
- Business information you give us: business name, address, phone, category, service area, and details about your business.
- Contact information: your name and email address.
- Google Business Profile access: when you grant us manager access to your profile, we work within it but do not store your Google login credentials.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Stripe handles that directly under its own privacy policy.
- AI visibility check submissions: when you enter a website address into our free AI visibility checker, we store that address, the resulting score, and the date. We use this to understand which businesses are looking for help and to improve the tool. We do not store your IP address, and we do not contact you unless you separately reach out to us through our form.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- Deliver the service you requested (building and optimizing your profile and site).
- Communicate with you about your project.
- Process payment.
- Send service-related updates.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers below who help us run the business.
Who we share it with
- Google (Business Profile, Forms), to deliver and intake your service.
- Stripe, to process payment.
- Cloudflare, to host websites.
Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. We share only what's needed for them to do their part.
How we store it
We keep your business information for as long as you're a client and for a reasonable period after, in case you return or for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing us.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe from any non-essential emails. Email [email protected] for any of these.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site, including which pages they view and which buttons they click. This helps us improve the page.
We also use the Meta Pixel, which is advertising technology from Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It tells us whether someone who saw one of our ads later visited our site, and it allows us to show ads to people who have visited before. This involves sharing limited information about your visit with Meta, which handles it under its own data policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and you can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy as the business grows. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
